What are cookies?

This Cookie Policy explains what cookies are, how we use them, the types of cookies we use (i.e., the information we collect using cookies and how that information is used), and how to manage your cookie settings.

Cookies are small text files used to store small pieces of information. They are stored on your device when a website loads in your browser. These cookies help ensure that the website functions properly, enhance security, provide a better user experience, and analyse performance to identify what works and where improvements are needed.

How do we use cookies?

Like most online services, our website uses both first-party and third-party cookies for various purposes. First-party cookies are primarily necessary for the website to function properly and do not collect any personally identifiable data.

The third-party cookies used on our website primarily help us understand how the website performs, track how you interact with it, keep our services secure, deliver relevant advertisements, and enhance your overall user experience while improving the speed of your future interactions with our website.

Note: We use server-side Google Tag Manager implementation to enhance privacy protection and reduce third-party tracking. This means analytics data is processed through our own servers before being sent to analytics providers, giving you greater privacy protection.

Types of cookies we use

Necessary

Necessary cookies are required to enable the basic features of this site, such as providing secure log-in or adjusting your consent preferences. These cookies do not store any personally identifiable data.

Cookie Duration Description
klaro Stored in localStorage Stores your cookie consent preferences using Klaro consent management platform. This allows us to remember your privacy choices across visits.
eea_uk 30 days First-party cookie that indicates your geographic region (EEA/UK or other) to provide appropriate consent experiences based on regional privacy laws. Contains only "1" or "0".

Analytics

We use analytics services to understand how visitors interact with our website. These help us improve our content and user experience. Analytics cookies are only set with your consent in EEA/UK regions, or automatically in other regions (with opt-out available).

Service Provider Purpose Cookie Duration
Google Analytics 4 Tracks website visits, page views, user journeys, and traffic sources. Helps us understand which content is most valuable and how to improve the user experience. We use server-side Google Tag Manager for enhanced privacy protection. Up to 14 months (primary cookies like _ga), with some short-lived session cookies (24 hours or less)

Advertising & Marketing

We use advertising and marketing services to measure campaign effectiveness, understand our audience, and connect form submissions with your browsing journey. These cookies are only set with your consent in EEA/UK regions, or automatically in other regions (with opt-out available).

Service Provider Purpose Cookie Duration
HubSpot Connects your form submissions (contact, newsletter) with your browsing history on our website. This helps us understand which pages you visited before reaching out, what content interested you, and how you discovered us, enabling more personalized and relevant responses. Also tracks form analytics and campaign attribution. Up to 6 months (visitor tracking), with some session cookies (30 minutes or browser close)
LinkedIn Insight Tag Measures conversions from LinkedIn advertising campaigns, provides audience demographics, and enables retargeting for our LinkedIn ads. Helps us understand our professional audience and optimize marketing ROI. Does not share your personal data with us—only aggregated, anonymized reports. Up to 90 days (conversion tracking), with some session or shorter-term cookies (24 hours to 30 days)

Regional Cookie Behavior and Google Consent Mode v2

Our website respects regional privacy laws and automatically adjusts cookie behavior based on your geographic location. We use Google Consent Mode v2 to ensure compliance with privacy regulations while maintaining site functionality.

How We Detect Your Region

We use server-side geo-detection through Netlify Edge Functions to determine your location based on your IP address. This detection sets a first-party cookie (eea_uk) that remembers your region for 30 days.

Region-Based Consent Behavior

  • EU/EEA and UK regions: You will see a cookie consent modal on your first visit that you must interact with before analytics or advertising cookies are set. This complies with GDPR requirements for explicit consent. All cookies default to "denied" until you provide consent.
  • Other regions (primarily US): Analytics and advertising cookies are automatically enabled by default to help us improve our services and measure marketing effectiveness. You can opt-out at any time using the cookie settings button in the footer or through your browser preferences.

Google Consent Mode v2

We implement Google Consent Mode v2, which allows Google Analytics and advertising platforms to adjust their behavior based on your consent choices and geographic region. The consent mode controls:

  • analytics_storage: Controls Google Analytics cookies (_ga, _gid, etc.). Granted by default in non-EEA/UK regions, denied by default in EEA/UK regions until you provide consent.
  • ad_storage: Controls advertising cookies like LinkedIn Insight Tag and conversion tracking pixels. Granted by default in non-EEA/UK regions (primarily US), denied by default in EEA/UK regions until you provide consent.
  • ad_user_data & ad_personalization: Control how advertising platforms can use your data. Granted by default in non-EEA/UK regions, denied by default in EEA/UK regions until you provide consent.

When you deny consent (or in EEA/UK regions before consent), analytics and advertising platforms operate in limited modes that provide basic aggregated measurement without setting tracking cookies, while respecting your privacy choices. When you grant consent, these platforms can provide more detailed insights to help us improve our services and marketing.
